IBM is pleased to announce the addition of the following job-role certification and applicable test to the Professional Certification Program from IBM. Certinside 000-374 certification is available worldwide today, July 31, 2009. By achieving Certinside 000-374 certification, intermediate level system administrators have validated their knowledge and skills, and can demonstrate their technical competence to others.

Certinside 000-374, IBM WebSphere MQ V7.0, System Administration

This intermediate level system administrator is an individual with extensive product knowledge, who is expected to plan, install, and configure the product as well as implement applications, set up distributed queuing, enable appropriate security, administer and operate a queue manager network, enforce organizational and operational standards, perform basic problem determination and implement clustering and publish/subscribe topologies.

It is expected that this system administrator will be generally self-sufficient and be able to perform the tasks involved in the role with limited assistance from peers, product documentation and vendor support services.

Due to the various platforms supported by WebSphere MQ V7.0, Certinside 000-374  is a cross platform certification.To attain the certification credential, candidates must pass 1 test: Test 000-374.
